The Fort Bedford River Rendezvous
June 6
9 AM to 3 PM

Step into the 18th and 19th centuries as reenactors and living historians bring to life the French and Indian War, the Revolutionary War, and the American Civil War. A number of historical societies from across the region will be on-site, offering hands‑on activities, demonstrations, and educational displays throughout the day.
Browse a diverse marketplace featuring 18th‑century artisan vendors alongside modern craft vendors, showcasing historic trades, handmade goods, and unique items you won’t find anywhere else.
Meet and talk with authors who have written extensively on the military, cultural, and regional history represented at the event. Enjoy kids’ colonial games and immerse yourself in the sounds of the past with a performance by the 46th Regiment Band from Altoona, PA.
Delicious food will be provided by Pleasant Union Church, offering visitors a great spot to relax and enjoy local flavors. The Potomac Dancers will return this year to present traditional Eastern Woodland Native American dances, giving attendees a memorable cultural experience.
Don’t miss this day of history, music, food, and fun in the beautiful setting of Fort Bedford Park!
